Menya Takahashi

Menya Takahashi is a wildly popular ramen shop where people line up even before opening hours. Here, you can experience a unique style of ramen called tsukemen—where noodles are dipped into the broth—offering a delightful twist on traditional miso ramen.

Extra-thick, flat noodles are generously dipped into a rich, hearty miso broth. This intensely flavorful soup combines pork bone and seafood flavors with miso’s subtle sweetness, striking a perfect balance. The chewy noodles intertwine with the savory broth, creating a truly satisfying experience.

Attention to detail extends to toppings as well. Aromatic Kujonegi (green onions), tender and juicy chashu pork that melts in your mouth, and crunchy bamboo shoots (menma) further enhance the overall flavor. Apart from miso, soy sauce-based ramen and limited-time specialties are also available.

Ordering is through a ticket system. Upon entering, select your dish from the vending machine, purchase your ticket, and hand it to the staff. Make sure to buy your ticket before sitting down.
