I wandered into this small but somehow vast wonderland by chance. I did not know what I had found but carry her message and the beauty of the place with me still. The silence is perfect, each piece of an incredibly detailed collection needing time to enjoy individually and as part of more. The smells, the colours, the natural world shaped so delicately into a new thing the survive what would have been its return to the continuum, for a blink of the universe longer. Together all these sights and smells are unforgettable. Once I had spent untold time walking in silent awe I sat down and read part of what I assumed was the artists book. She spoke about her awakening after becoming a mother, a realisation that we are more than a carriage for the creation of life, that like the orange peel that is torn open to release the sweet and youg orange, we can go on transformed. I loved this message and wish I had bought a copy of her book. I am not sure if it was the artist who silently watched me, My son and my daughter but I assume it was. Out of nowhere in this world, that seemed a gift just for me, was filled with new guests and I realised this was an experience I had grasped where others plan and pay and despite my apologies apon realising the kind and beautiful artist instead gifted me and my daughter two small peel sculptures that we still cherish ten years on. Thank you.
